Dani Dobrot

Associate Director

Dani is based in Seattle, Washington with a background in nursing, global health, humanitarian aid, and professional education. Dani gained her first experience in locally-led capacity building with a program called Ghana Emergency Medicine Collaborative. During this time, she became inspired to work towards systemic change for the health and wellbeing of communities. Dani continued to work in nursing and global health by working alongside refugees in Jordan focusing on emergency medicine and support for refugee-led health and education. Dani has continued to expand her career by teaching nursing at the college level with a focus on culture, public health, and nursing philosophies. This background of health and local projects coupled with a master’s degree in international community development has inspired Dani to leverage climbing as a creative tool to spark psychosocial, communal, and economic well-being. Dani’s main goal is to encourage a perspective that employs rock climbing to uplift, unite, and transform local communities.
